Navajo Sterling Silver and 14k Gold Heartline Bear Ring

Al Joe is Navajo silversmith from Window Rock, Arizona. Born in 1950, Al has been making jewelry for over 30 years. He works in both silver and gold, and he is especially well known for his handmade beads, and considers his work contemporary but with traditional roots. Al has won many awards for his work, including being awarded the prestigious IACA artist of the year award in 2001 and best of division at the Heard Museum show in 2005.
This beautiful ring is made of sterling silver with a 14 karat gold heartline medicine bear accent in the center of the ring and bear paws around the sides of the ring. The band is 3/8 inch wide in the center and tapers to 1/4 inch wide in the back.
