Al Joe is Navajo silversmith from Window Rock, Arizona. Born in 1950, Al has been making jewelry for over 30 years. He works in both silver and gold, and he is especially well known for his handmade beads, and considers his work contemporary but with traditional roots. Al has won many awards for his work, including being awarded the prestigious IACA artist of the year award in 2001 and best of division at the Heard Museum show in 2005.

This beautiful bracelet by Al is made from sterling silver and accented with five 14 karat gold heartline bears. The inside circumference of the cuff measures 5 3/8 inches plus an opening of 1 1/8 inches and it will fit a wrist measurement of approximately 6 1/2 inches. The cuff is 1 inch wide at the center and tapers to 3/4 inch wide at each end.
