Calvin Martinez is a self-taught silversmith who has been making jewelry for over 20 years. He comes from a well known family of silversmiths. Calvin's jewelry is made with traditional old techniques, he makes everything by hand and only uses the finest natural stones in his work. We especially love his concha belts, which are well made of heavy gauge sterling silver and exquisitely stamped designs.

This gorgeous Navajo concho belt is made of beautifully hand stamped sterling silver. The belt contains 14 sterling conchos and a buckle, each measuring 1 3/4 inches by 1 1/2 inches. The conchos are joined by 3/4 inch sterling info and each is set with a piece of natural Sleeping Beauty turquoise measuring 1/4 inch by 3/16 inch.

The belt is 36 1/2 inches long plus 3 inches of extra sterling loops, for a total length of 39 1/2 inches. The buckle can be hooked to any of the sterling silver info and worn at a variety of lengths. This is a belt that you can wear inside the belt loops of your jeans or wear it without using the belt loops, it looks great either way!
