Navajo Sterling Silver and Bisbee Turquoise Concho Belt

This incredible concho belt was made by Navajo silversmith Lawrence Delgarito, who uses the hallmark signature and name "Two Dogs." Lawrence is in his mid 40’s and has been making jewelry for most of his life. All of his work is hand stamped and he uses only natural gem quality turquoise stones in his jewelry.

This concho belt is made of beautifully hand stamped sterling silver and set with 150 carats of natural gem quality Bisbee turquoise. The belt contains 5 sterling silver conchos and 6 sterling silver butterflies. The conchos measure 3 3/4 inches by 3 1/4 inches each and each concho is set with a beautiful natural Bisbee turquoise stone; the stones range in size from 1 1/8 inches by 1/2 inch to 5/8 inch by 1/2 inch. The butterflies measure 2 7/8 inches by 1 1/4 inches each and each one is set with a natural piece of Bisbee turquoise; the stones range in size from 3/4 inch by 5/8 inch to 1/2 inch by 3/8 inch.

The buckle measures 4 1/2 inches by 3 3/4 inches and is set with 8 natural Bisbee turquoise stones ranging in size from 7/8 inch by 3/4 inch to 3/4 inch by 1/2 inch. The conchos and butterflies are backed with leather and attached to the belt with copper bands. The black leather belt measures 52 inches in length and is 1 1/4 inches wide. It can be cut to fit.
