Michael Kirk is a fabulous Navajo/Isleta jewelry artist who lives at the Isleta Pueblo in New Mexico. Michael was taught the art of silvsmithing by his older brother Andy and he has been creating his beautiful stylized jewelry since 1971. In 1997 he was chosen as the artist of the year by the Indian Arts and Crafts Association (IACA). His pieces are incredible one of a kind pieces of art and he specializes in custom jewelry.

Over 30 years ago, Michael found a piece of jewelry that was featured in Arizona Highways magazine set with Lander Blue turquoise. He acquired the piece and removed the stones to use in the future. He has showcased the stones in this gorgeous necklace and earring set made of 14 karat gold. The elegant style is a perfect setting for these rare and very special stone.

The choker measures 14 inches in circumference plus an opening of 1 3/4 inches. It can be adjusted. The teardrop style pendant measures 3 1/2 inches in length by 1 1/2 inches in width and is set with six natural Lander Blue stones ranging in size from 1/4 inch by 3/16 inch to 3/8 inch by 1/4 inch.

The earrings measure 3 inches in length by 1 inch in width and each earring is set with six natural Lander Blue stones ranging in size from 1/4 inch by 1/8 inch to 5/16 inch by 3/16 inch.
