This beautiful bola tie was made by silversmith Jeanette Dale, a Navajo artist from near Shiprock, New Mexico. Jeanette born in the summer of 1949 to the Red House Clan in Shiprock, New Mexico. She was taught to be a silversmith by her mother Juanita Begay and has been creating jewelry since 1970. She works in both silver and gold using only natural stones.
This beautiful bola tie measures 1 3/4 inches by 1 1/2 inches and is set with a piece of Bisbee turquoise measuring 1 inch by 3/4 inch. The bola hangs from a black braided leather tie measuring 38 inches in length. The sterling silver tips measure 2 inches in length each.
